A root method for the Snapdragon (US) variant of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has now been provided thanks to team from the XDA Developers forums.
If the latest reports are to be believed, the all-new Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will have its fingerprint sensor embedded under the display.
The Samsung will use the AMOLED screen as the light source for the fingerprint sensor. Only time can tell if we would finally have fingerprint sensors on the front of the phone, rather than the back. Since Kuo is looking all the way ahead to the Galaxy Note 9 for this feature, one may figure that the Galaxy S9 devices to be released this spring will not have a display-based fingerprint sensor either. Samsung Group-owned Samsung LSI supposedly already shipped some sample components for an in-screen fingerprint sensor to Samsung Electronics, as did Korean firm BeyondEyes, Kuo's recent note claims.

As Apple enthusiasts await the launch of #iPhone X, estimates indicate that the handset's facial recognition technology is ahead of all of its rivals by over two and a half years.
With the introduction of this new technology, Samsung will surely have a lot of attention in the market.
Samsung's #Galaxy Note 9 phablet is nearly a year away, but speculations about the company's upcoming device have increased on the internet.
